Israeli settler attacks continue: Father, son injured in Bethlehem

A Palestinian man, Raed Khalil, 45, and his 24-year-old son, Mahmoud, sustained injuries after being attacked by Israeli settlers in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, Wafa reported. The settlers assaulted them with rifle and pistol butts when the duo was on their land in the village, the report said. The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission (CWRC) says settlers and Israeli soldiers caused 900 fires in the West Bank between the beginning of 2023 and July 10 this year. The blazes targeted Palestinian properties, homes, vehicles and facilities. About 89 percent of the fires were caused by settlers, while Israeli soldiers caused the remaining 11 percent, Wafa reported. Settlers have destroyed a Palestinian farm near the town of Arraba, according to Al Jazeera. Activists have recorded attacks by settlers in the occupied West Bank, according to footage released by Quds News Network.
