Israeli raids wound child and two journalists in Ramallah

Israeli forces wounded a child with live ammunition during attacks in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, the Palestinian Health Ministry says. Several other Palestinians suffered breathing difficulties. Al Jazeera reports that Israeli forces also wounded at least two journalists as they opened fire and used tear gas during the raids. Troops entered several Palestinian NGOs’ offices and the courtyard of the Palestine Medical Complex in the occupied West Bank. Wafa identified the injured journalists as Palestine TV’s Khaled Mattawa, who sustained a hand injury from a sound bomb, and Sky News Arabia’s Firas Lotfi, who suffered a shrapnel wound to his foot. The agency said the injuries occurred “as a result of a gas bomb being fired directly at them”.
