Israeli military says senior Hezbollah commander killed in strike on southern Lebanon

Abu Hassan Alaa “took part in advancing numerous terror attacks against IDF soldiers… including the launch of explosive drones toward IDF soldiers in southern Lebanon,” the Israeli military said. A wave of Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon on Saturday killed at least 11 people, including women and children, the Lebanese Health Ministry said. The Israeli prime minister’s office had accused Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire and said three Israeli soldiers were seriously injured in a Hezbollah attack in southern Lebanon. On Saturday, the Israeli military said it struck a headquarters of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force in response, killing what they described as a battalion commander and several others.
