The scholarships will be offered across the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL). The initiative is aimed at making management education more accessible to high-potential candidates from different economic, geographical and professional backgrounds.SCHOLARSHIPS TO COVER UP TO 100% OF TUITION FEESUnder the ISB25 Scholars Programme, selected students will receive tuition-fee waivers of 100%, 50%, 30% or 25%, depending on merit and financial need. ISB said the programme is intended to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent talented candidates from accessing its management programmes.The announcement expands ISB’s existing focus on financial assistance. The school currently offers several merit-, need- and diversity-based scholarships, with around 25% of PGP students receiving financial support each year. ISB had earlier awarded scholarships worth more than Rs 12 crore to around 13% of the PGP Class of 2027, covering partial and full tuition support.INDIA RESEARCH COMMONS TO SUPPORT SCHOLARSAs part of its 25th anniversary commitments, ISB will also establish the India Research Commons, a national platform designed to strengthen management research across the country. The platform will provide researchers with access to curated datasets, research tools, methodological resources and AI-enabled research infrastructure. The initiative is aimed at reducing barriers to high-quality research and making advanced research resources more accessible to scholars across India.The school said the platform will build on its research capabilities and extend them beyond its own campuses to support the wider academic community.NATIONAL FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ANNOUNCEDMoreover, ISB will also launch a national faculty development programme for management institutions across India. Through the initiative, the business school plans to share its pedagogy, classroom practices and technology-enabled teaching methods with faculty members and management institutions.The programme is intended to strengthen teaching capacity and encourage the wider adoption of contemporary approaches to management education.ISB'S EXPANSION OF MANAGEMENT EDUCATIONThe new initiatives build on ISB’s recent efforts to expand access to management education and research. In 2025, the school launched the PGP YL with an inaugural batch of 130 students, more than a third of whom received tuition waivers.It also introduced ISB Discover, a digital platform to make faculty research accessible to policymakers, business leaders and the public.ISB Dean Professor Madan Pillutla said the 25th anniversary marks an opportunity to strengthen the school’s contribution to the wider academic ecosystem.
