The eponymous village has been in mourning following the deaths of Jimmy and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), who both perished in the wake of a devastating crash. Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) held husband Jimmy’s hand as he slowly faded, imagining what life could have been like had they managed to renew their wedding vows. In a bid to honour her other half, Nicola headed to the crash site with fellow villagers Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah). Her return well and truly set the cat among the pigeons, with Sadie making some wild claims about Jimmy, much to the chagrin of Nicola, who was left utterly reeling. Jimmy and Sadie King affair claims explained When quizzed on her reasons for being in the village, Sadie claimed that she was there to pay her respects to ex husband Jimmy, stating that they’ve been seeing each other and living together for three years. The claims left Nicola reeling as she assured everyone in The Woolpack – and Sadie – that she and Jimmy were happily married, reiterating that he would never cheat on her. Sadie, however, attempted to refute such a thing, saying that Jimmy told her that they’d split years ago – and that he hadn’t mentioned Nicola since. Sadie claimed that Jimmy had lied to both of them. Struggling to process everything, a heartbroken Nico kicked Sadie out and burst into tears.
