The commander of the Quds Force in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that the US is faced with a "humiliating situation" across the Middle East. "Today we are witnessing the unity of the areas in the resistance front, and each of its parts is surprising the enemy with its strategy and calculated actions," Esmail Qaani said. "The Americans thought they could force Iran to surrender within four days or two weeks at most, but they faced conditions completely different from their calculations." Qaani added that Washington was "expelled from Iraq with all its capabilities," refering to the end of the 23-year US military presence in the country. The commander also spoke of Hezbollah in Lebanon, saying that the group "stood firm" despite US and Israeli claims that it had been eliminated.
