Ireland Plans for €1.5 Billion in Tax Cuts in 2027 Budget

Ireland’s government is planning for €1.5 billion in tax cuts ($1.7 billion) in its budget later this year, using some of its fiscal bounty to help workers. Despite warning of downside economic risks, linked in part to the Iran conflict and energy disruption, the government said Wednesday it wants to “help support working people to retain more of their earnings.”
