Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday that there has been no progress in mediators' work regarding peace talks between Tehran and Washington to end hostilities in the region since the results of the US midterm elections. “The main reason is the US election results, which have obviously come as a shock to everyone,” Araghchi told reporters. “It will take some time for things to settle down and for the atmosphere to become conducive to the mediators resuming their visits. We have to wait,” he added.
