The Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson said that Tehran has "clearly and firmly" set out conditions for ending the war, adding that it will respond to US proposals through mediators. "Our considerations and conditions for ending the imposed war on all fronts and restoring security to the Persian Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz have been clearly and firmly set out," Esmaeil Baghaei said. "The necessary response to the other side’s proposals will also be delivered through mediators." Baghaei added that Iran and Oman also agreed on safe transit routes through the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
