Similarly, a July report in Cailian News Agency referenced conversations with Apple supply chain sources. “They said that there was no change in the delivery time date in September, denying rumors of product postponement.” ChannelNews Australia was another recent source saying the device would be available in September, at least in the US. Looking further back though, the story changes. Ming Chi-Kuo predicted earlier in the summer that iPhone Ultra will follow a similar strategy to the iPhone X in 2017. Meaning it could be announced in September but ship later in the fall. Macworld heard a similar plan from its sources. And back in April, Nikkei Asia stirred a lot of buzz by reporting the foldable could be delayed several months into 2027.
