Sign in to your TheGamer account There are plenty of high profile games out there that have been pushed into 2027. We’ve had delays for big games like Fable and Tomb Raider: Catalyst, while other titles like Persona 4 Revival, Stranger Than Heaven, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth are planning to launch at the start of next year. However, there are some big titles still missing that have already been announced. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is one such title, the next big game from Naughty Dog that has gone MIA ever since its first trailer back in 2024. We’ve had a few details about the game since then, but a release window has not been one of them. Thankfully, a tip from a reliable insider has given us a bit more information. Nate the Hate has been dishing out the tips on Twitter recently, giving us two juicy bits of information that are pretty good to hear all things considered, the first of which being that 2027 is the “intended target” for Intergalactic. Assassin’s Creed Hexe Is Also Targeting 2027 As for the second piece of info, when asked if he knows when Assassin’s Creed Hexe will be officially revealed again, Nate the Hate states that there’s no need to rush a trailer out of the door since the game is aiming to release at the back end of 2027 “at the earliest.” Of course, the games industry is a fickle beast and things could go wrong, and we’ve already seen a number of delays out of 2027, granted a couple of them are GTA 6-related. In any case, if these games do make these windows, then it’s pretty great news for physical collectors. As most of you reading probably know, PlayStation is taking physical media around the back of the shed at the start of 2028, refusing to manufacture discs for new releases past that point. If Assassin’s Creed Hexe and Intergalactic both launch in 2027, they’ll likely get physical releases, and you’ll be able to grab that last physical game in their respective series.
