But as it stands, the duo are set to stare one another down for the first time at a press conference at the end of the month. In an interview with Sky Sports, AJ promoter Eddie Hearn said: “At the end of August, there will be a press conference. “I’m not going to sit here and tell you there’s no way the fight’s happening in America because things can change. “But I really feel strongly that this is something that should happen in the UK and we’ll do all we can. “We’re up against it – it seems like everybody else has agreed but Anthony Joshua. “He feels a little bit of responsibility to UK fight fans as well. Team Joshua aren’t averse to the fight taking place at MSG, so long as they’re appropriately compensated. Hearn said: “We kind of want to say, ‘Well, if you want to do it in America, you have got to pay us all of this money to change.’ “Because we are not really bothered about the money – we want it in England. “So, we want to make it so much money that they just say, ‘You know what, let’s just do it in England’. “That is our dream scenario.” Comment now
