KELLY Clarkson is saying goodbye to daytime TV after seven years hosting her own talk show. The music mogul, 44, will host her very last episode on August 31, and her final guests have been leaked. According to the TV listing, Kelly will spend her last day performing her Kellyoke segment, where she sings her favorite songs by other artists. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! However, for the finale, Kelly will sing her own songs, including Since U Been Gone, Stronger and Piece by Piece. She will also perform Sober, her pal Pink’s 2008 hit song. Pink filled in to host for Kelly during her final season, and according to The U.S. Sun sources, is also in the running to take over as host of the show. According to the listing, Kelly will also sing Golden, the hit song from movie KPop Demon Hunters. It appears audience members were able to request the songs. Kelly’s final guests will be her own children, River, 12, and Remy, 10, who have appeared on her show in the past. She claimed she needed to spend more time with her kids while they cope with their grief. “This was not an easy decision,” she said during the sad announcement in February. “But this season will be my last hosting TKCS. “Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this chapter of our lives.” In addition to Pink, other rumored names in the running to take over Kelly’s talk show time slot are Olympians and Traitors besties Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski. “NBC still very much wants Pink. She’s still the frontrunner to land the job but, as most things do, it comes down to money,” a source told The U.S. Sun. “With Pink, she’d be expensive. Kelly most likely makes just south of $15 million a year from the show alone. Pink wouldn’t be much less. “A star like Pink is expensive and she wouldn’t uproot her whole life and expose her family’s private life like that if it weren’t the right price. She would need over $10 million to take the job. “When the network saw the goodwill and attention [Johnny and Tara] were getting from the audience from The Traitors and the Olympics, and how dynamic and natural they are together, it was a no-brainer to include them in the conversation. “The thing that would make Johnny and Tara more appealing for the network is they could get both of them for under the price of Pink. “Two for the price of one is appetizing for business decisions.” Fortunately, fans can see Kelly on TV again as a coach on the new season of The Voice, premiering next month.
