The Girls star Yris Palmer quietly divorced her pro soccer husband Staforde Palmer after the “irredeemable breakdown” of their marriage. Court documents exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun reveals that after Khloe Kardashian’s best friend Yris married Staforde, their happily ever after ended fairly quickly – though actually filing for divorce took a bit more time. Their wedding photographer shared a heartfelt blog post about the pair’s connection. Sign up for the Showbiz newsletter Thank you! “They say that long-distance relationships never work, and there’s only about 5% of long-distance relationships that last. “Yris and Staforde are that 5% couple,” the photog wrote before adding that while he was in the United Kingdom and she was in the United States, they made it work, calling their love “unbreakable and strong.” But sadly, it did break. According to the documents, the couple officially separated in 2018, though it would take another two years before Khloe and Kylie Jenner’s BFF Yris filed for divorce in August 2020. Shortly after filing for divorce, the couple entered into a Marital Settlement Agreement, which was signed that September. “Irreconcilable differences have arisen between the parties, which have led to irredeemable breakdown of their marriage. The pair decided to share joint legal custody of Ayla, now 9. They both waived their right to any spousal support. Yaris got to keep her business checking account with $100,000 in it, according to the agreement. She and Staforde kept a 25% share in their hair removal business, SEV Laser, L.L.C. Yris kept her businesses in her name. Meanwhile, Staforde laid claim to a 2019 Range Rover. Both kept all other bank accounts. The pair was officially granted their divorce on March 21, 2021. On The Girls, Yris actually set Staforde up with her friend Olivia Pierson, though it’s unclear if the pair is still together. Yris has since moved on and given birth to her second baby, Prince, in 2022 with her NBA star boyfriend Troy Daniels. The new Hulu reality star is also a good friend of Khloe’s sister Kylie Jenner, as well as Teen Mom star Cheyenne Floyd. The new show premieres Friday, August 21 on Hulu. Comment now
