HE may well be getting married this weekend, but right now it seems Cristiano Ronaldo’s mind is somewhere else – his ­multi-million-pound supercar collection. The 41-year-old icon took to Instagram to share a rare glimpse inside his pristine garage — filled with an array of gleaming motors. Headlining CR7’s ridiculous line-up is the jewel in his crown — an ultra-rare Bugatti Centodieci, worth a mind-boggling £12.5million. There’s also his everyday family runaround — a £500,000 Ferrari Purosangue SUV — and a classic Ferrari 599 GTO, which would have set him back around £1m. If that wasn’t enough to make petrolheads weep, Ronaldo also squeezed in his track-ready Mercedes-AMG ONE — a £2.4m monster powered by a Formula 1 engine. The cars on display in his post total more than £36million, but it’s believed Ronaldo has in excess of 40 stunning vehicles in his wider collection, with a total value of around £100million. A precise number is hard to come by — not helped by the fact Ronaldo, who last October became football’s first billionaire player, previously admitted he has lost count. “If I had to bet, I’d say 40 or 41 . . . I don’t know,” he said with a laugh when asked during an interview with Piers Morgan. The brand closest to his heart? “I love the Bugattis,” he said. “I have a few. And I didn’t even go to my garage to see the cars. “Just on the day that I left, the two Bugattis went for an inspection. They came back, and I looked at them to see that they were clean and all good, and then they went to the garage. “But honestly, for me, cars are not any more a passion.” But he does drive if he needs to — including when he had to get the BMW gifted to him by his club back to his home. Admittedly, squeezing your Ferrari out of this garage without a single scratch on the bodywork would be like trying to parallel park the space shuttle. So it’s little wonder that most of the time the cylinders in these feats of engineering lay dormant — no doubt to the disappointment of many car enthusiasts. It’s less garage and more art gallery — and Ronaldo admits to buying them as investments. “Three weeks ago, I bought a car,” he told Piers in their November interview, talking about his recent purchase of a Bugatti Tourbillon – a car with a price that starts at £3.2million. It’s like if you buy a frame,” he added. “I’m not going to drive that car. It’s like an investment.” As if he didn’t have enough motors already, Ronaldo has also received a number of cars as gifts from his wife-to-be, Georgina Rodriguez, 32. That includes a Mercedes G-Wagon Brabus SUV worth £630,000 given to him for his 35th birthday in 2020. “Thanks my love for this amazing surprise,” Ronaldo wrote on Instagram at the time. She also gifted him a Rolls-Royce Dawn worth more than £250,000 — complete with big red bow — for Christmas in 2022.
