The Bigg Boss house has long been more than a backdrop for the show, serving as the space where friendships are formed, alliances break down, arguments intensify and contestants gradually lose track of life outside. For Bigg Boss 20, the makers have reworked that idea further, giving the house a more distinct personality of its own.Hosted by Salman Khan, the new season features a house that is brighter, quirkier and more surreal in its design. Built around the theme of duality, the set takes familiar objects and gives them unexpected identities, creating a space that moves away from a conventional reality show set-up and towards a more unusual, dream-like visual language.The living area establishes that mood at once, with oversized birds, artificial foliage, colourful furniture and whimsical installations spread across the space. One of its most striking features is a giant teapot, with its spout appearing to pour directly into a couch, adding to the house's offbeat look.The bedroom extends the fantasy-led design with pastel shades, oversized mushrooms, floral patterns and a detailed hanging chandelier. While the room keeps the familiar Bigg Boss element of contestants sleeping in close quarters, its appearance is markedly different from the more conventional bedrooms seen in previous seasons. The outdoor section is similarly dramatic. A giant snake wrapped around a tree has been turned into a seating installation, while the garden continues the larger-than-life approach through oversized sculptures, greenery and vibrant colours. The design is playful, while also carrying a sense of disorder that matches the atmosphere often seen on the show.The house also includes visual reminders of one of the show's central ideas: constant surveillance. Eyes appear prominently across the design, making the sense of being watched part of the decor itself. Another major talking point is Room No 20, which remains the season's biggest mystery. Unlike the rest of the house, its purpose and details have been kept under wraps, leaving both contestants and viewers with more to speculate about.The key change this season lies in the house's overall visual language.
