Citibank is an advertising partner of this site, as is American Express, Chase, Capital One, and others. Any opinions expressed in this post are my own, and have not been reviewed, approved, or endorsed by my advertising partners. I do not write about all offers that are available -- instead focusing on miles, points, and cash back (and currencies that can be converted into the same). Terms apply to the offers and benefits listed on this page.inKind has three restaurant offers available to existing users that can save you a total of $85 across three bills. Each takes 50% off when you spend exactly the minimum. And Costco is again selling $100 in inKind dining credit for $64.99, through September 13. I’ve written about how inKind works and why I’ve found it useful. They’ve signed up restaurants where I actually do eat. In Austin, that means places like The Well, Peached Tortilla, Wu Chow, Lao’d Bar and Old Thousand. And Waterloo Ice House, where the food isn’t very good but they have playgrounds for my kids. You ask for the check, select the restaurant in the app, enter the check number, and pay with your phone. The tip goes to your linked credit card. Three Offers To Check, Even If You’re Already A Member These are being offered as “Welcome Back” promotions. Open each link using the phone number associated with your account: Claim offer Minimum qualifying bill Discount $50 off $100+ $100 $50 $30 off $60+ $60 $30 $5 off $10+ $10 $5 I flagged the $50 off $100 offer in August, so that one isn’t new. Check which of the three your account will let you claim; a previously redeemed offer isn’t a fresh discount. Each is valid for 30 days after claiming. If you can use them, I’d add them now since the claim links can disappear. Confirm that the offers appear in your account, then select the best one when paying at an eligible restaurant. The $85 total requires three separate qualifying transactions. You can’t take all $85 off one dinner, and the percentage savings falls as you spend beyond each minimum. Spending $150 with the $50 offer saves a third, for instance. (HT: Miles to Memories) Costco’s $100 Credit For $64.99 Is Back Through September 13 Costco is selling $100 in inKind credit for $64.99, a 35% discount. The sale runs through September 13, 2026, with a limit of five per membership. Buying all five gets you $500 in dining credit for $324.95. I’ve covered this Costco price before. The credit gets loaded into your inKind account and can be used across participating restaurants. Check the selection in the app before buying; the reason this works for me is that I’m using it for meals I’d be paying for anyway. The old stacking advice no longer applies. inKind’s current terms prohibit combining offers with an inKind balance. You can’t take $50 off a $100 bill and then pay the remaining $50 with Costco credit. Their help page also specifies one offer per transaction, even with split pay. A larger bill can make the discounted credit the better choice, even while you have a “50% off” offer sitting in your account. Topics on this page
