Indoor trampoline and play park to open at SouthPark Mall in Strongsville next year

Last year, Dick’s moved into a larger space that once held Sears and rebranded itself as Dick’s House of Sport. “At Soar N Bounce, we believe every kid deserves a place to run, jump, climb and just be a kid,” the Soar N Bounce website says.Soar N Bounce, in addition to wall-to-wall trampolines, has rock-climbing walls, arcades, inflatable basketball courts, playgrounds and obstacle courses. The Strongsville Soar N Bounce will also include dedicated spaces for birthday parties and other events and a separate play area for toddlers. On its website, Soar N Bounce says it emphasizes safety. The equipment is certified and the staff is trained. Safety protocols are routine.“We design every experience with families in mind — clean facilities, comfortable viewing areas and activities for all ages,” the website says.“What started as a single park has grown into a multi-location brand serving communities across the United States — and we’re just getting started,” the website says.Soar N Bounce now has trampoline and play parks in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Indiana and New Jersey, according to the company website. On the moveSpinoso Real Estate Group, a national real estate firm that owns SouthPark, has recently announced other changes at the Strongsville mall.Aerie, a women’s clothing store, opened OFFLINE by Aerie next to its original store on July 30.“The new store brings Aerie’s activewear-focused brand to SouthPark, offering shoppers even more options for their active and everyday lifestyles,” Kurt Reddick, SouthPark’s general manager, told cleveland.com.Reddick said Aerie temporarily relocated within the mall while the original space was renovated to make room for OFFLINE. Aeropostale, which sells casual apparel and accessories for men, women and teens, relocated from the mall’s center-court area into a remodeled, larger space on the lower level near Dillard’s.Reddick said Aeropostale opened in its new location at the beginning of August.Finally, Lucky Shoes in early August consolidated its three locations in SouthPark into one store that brings all of its brands together. The consolidated Lucky’s is directly across the aisle from one of its previous locations on the lower level near Macy’s.
