India's T-90 tanks may get active shield against missiles, drones and top-attack weapons

India's DRDO is developing an advanced Active Protection System for T-90 tanks, capable of intercepting threats at over 1,500 m/s, including top-attack munitions. This indigenous technology aims to significantly boost tank survivability against modern threats like ATGMs and drones, marking a major step in defence self-reliance.
