India’s peak power demand hits record high of 256GW amid soaring temperatures
According to latest update from IMD, maximum temperatures on Sunday were in a range of 40-46 degree Celsius over most parts of the country except western Himalayan region, northeast Bihar, northeast India. The highest maximum temperature of 46.9 degree Celsius was reported at Akola in Maharashtra.
