The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully flight-tested the indigenously developed Pralay quasi-ballistic missile from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast. Conducted as part of user evaluation trials, the test achieved all mission objectives and marks a significant step towards the missile’s induction into the Indian armed forces. Developed by Research Centre Imarat and other DRDO laboratories, Pralay is a key component of India’s indigenous missile development programme. Published - November 06, 2026 03:56 pm IST
