India at Commonwealth Games: July 28 schedule, medal events, fixtures in Glasgow

India will look to build on its encouraging start at the Commonwealth Games 2026 when its athletes compete across athletics, boxing, weightlifting, swimming, paraswimming, and lawn bowls on Tuesday, July 28.After another productive day that saw Gyaneshwari Yadav win silver and Bindyarani Devi clinch bronze in weightlifting, the Indian contingent will be aiming to keep the medal momentum going in Glasgow. The day's action begins in the swimming pool, where Sajan Prakash will compete in the men's 50m butterfly heats before Srihari Nataraj takes to the pool in the men's 100m backstroke heats. Both swimmers will be looking to secure places in the evening semifinals. India will also have representation in athletics early in the day as Vishal TK and Rajesh Ramesh compete in the men's 400m heats, hoping to advance to the next round. Srihari Nataraj in action.
