‘Inconsolable’ Cindy Crawford seen for first time since son Presley Gerber’s death aged 27 after suspected overdose

Both police and fire units responded to the addiction treatment facility, where they “attempted life-saving measures,” a law enforcement source told The Sun. However, he was soon declared dead. The source added that no foul play is suspected and Gerber’s death is “currently being investigated as an overdose.” Most read in Showbiz Gerber’s famous family, which also includes model/actress sister Kaia, released a statement after the tragic news, saying, “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.” According to Page Six, 911 dispatch audio mentions “cardiac arrest” and “overdose” when referring to the incident. Devastated Crawford is “inconsolable” as she faces “every parents worst nightmare”, a source told Page Six. “The family is still trying to process everything that happened”, they added. The model had been open about his battle with addiction and mental health for years before his death. He even spoke about trying psychedelic drug therapy in his battle for recovery. In his final social media posts just weeks before his death, Presley said he had “faced” what he was running from and was “finding” his “way back”. The star’s celebrity parents and sister were very supportive of his recovery journey. Crawford commented under the post: “You are a warrior! Walked thru fire to find yourself! So proud!” “That’s my brother I am so damn proud,” sister Kaia wrote. In July, iconic 90s model Crawford posted a birthday tribute to her beloved son. “Happy birthday I’m so proud of the man you’ve become, but I’ll always see you as my little boy! Love you,” she wrote. The Crawford-Gerber family has a sad history of tragedy. Crawford’s brother died of cancer when she was a child. “I was 8, my older sister would have been 10. My younger sister would have been 4 and Jeff was like 2, turning 3 when he got diagnosed, and then he was sick for two years,” she said in a recent interview. “When he died, obviously that was devastating for the whole family. I think for my mother, she was able and chose to really grieve properly. “She went to death and dying courses. She has a very strong faith. “So she was able to move through grief.
