Of course, it’s hard to be modest when you’re the biggest stud at the caravan park, and you’ve taken Woking from the Conference to the Champions League. Still, it seems that Jay’s habit of talking too much has rubbed off on the man who plays him, James Buckley. Last week, the39-year-old actor shared a Cameo video with a fan showing that he’s shaved his beard and dyed his hair blonde ahead of filming on the third Inbetweeners movie begining. Netflix officially annouced work had begun on the film earlier this month with Buckley, Blake Harrison, Simon Bird, and Joe Thomas, 42, reprising their roles as Jay, Neil, Will, and Simon, respectively. And now the star might have revealed even more about the beloved comedy’s return. In a new Cameo video shared by @SindyStargfire on TikTok, James can be seen sitting in a grey room congratulating a couple on the birth of their twins. However, eagle-eyed fans immediately noticed James might have given away a plot detail about the upcoming Inbetweeners film. In the video, James is wearing a blue polo shirt and a high-vis jacket of some kind, with a patch on the front that seems to read ‘Cartwright Plant’. And while that might seem like a small detail, the fans think it reveals a lot about what Jay’s been up to in the last decade. Spoiled The Inbetweeners 3? Completed it, mate. It’s known that his dad is at least a manager (if not owner) of a construction business, as that’s where Jay did his work experience. ‘I mean, it was kind of obvious Jay would end up working for his dad,’ agreed Lazy-Interests. ‘I mean, he spends all day jumping JCBs over cement mixers, making a grand a week.’ Other fans predicted that Jay’s future might be a bit brighter than working at his dad’s building firm. ‘I think he’s successful and rich in his job, but scummy, and he’s still a great source of laughter through being pathetic,’ predicted Tsjeldonkooper. Netflix announced it was working on a new Inbetweeners film after months of speculation (Picture: Channel 4) Other users thought it would be a great joke if Jay now had the money to back up his terrible lies. Sadly, we’ve had no confirmation on any of this, and fans will just have to watch the film when it’s released to learn what Jay’s been up to. Unfortunately, we still don’t know if Greg Davies is returning as Mr Gilbert. When Metro caught up with him earlier this year, he claimed he wanted to be in the film and promised ‘awful vengeance’ if he was snubbed. ‘Oh, my God,’ he told me. ‘If I end up not being in that movie, there are people I won’t name, who I will spend the rest of my life taking down, and the awful vengeance I will reap on those people.’ Deals of the Day Topman’s new-season collection has arrived and prices start at just £10 An Instagram mattress left me with back pain – this one completely changed my mind Book Val d'Isère, Val Thorens and Tignes for less in Club Med's ski sale Save 25% on red light therapy masks, sauna blankets and sleep gadgets in Bon Charge sale The viral LED face mask with over 350 lights that's currently discounted by £100 The Inbetweeners seasons one to three are available to watch now on Ch4.
