In leaked audio, Goldy Brar claims gang killed Nijjar in Canada, alleges drug trade

The claim surfaced in a leaked audio conversation between Brar and UK-based Khalistani terrorist Paramjit Singh Pamma. Three years after the killing, a leaked audio call between Gangster Goldy Brar and UK-based Khalistani terrorist Paramjit Singh Pamma surfaced. In that leaked audio, Brar, who is wanted in India for several murders, including the murder of Punjabi singer-songwriter Sidhu Moosewala, was heard explaining why he and his gang killed Nijjar. He said that Nijjar backed and empowered a drug network to serve his own purposes. According to Brar, this network recruited 16–17-year-old youngsters and forced them to sell drugs by blackmail. He also said that the members of the drug network blackmailed these youngsters to work as informers, and Nijjar supported and empowered the members of the racket so that he could use them whenever required."Those who would prepare 16–17-year-old children to sell drugs and encourage them to do so... those who would blackmail children into selling drugs and acting as informers... Nijjar supported such people and made them stronger so that he could use them when required," Brar is heard saying in the audio. Further, Brar alleged that the Sikh separatist leader was also involved in the illegal trade of weapons, which he cited as another reason behind his killing."Because of this, we had to kill him.
