Imran and Leah’s wedding descends into chaos in Hollyoaks as lies and secrets finally explode

| Deputy Soaps Editor Published August 10, 2026 11:59pm Leah and Imran’s wedding day is here – and it’s incredibly eventful (Picture: Lime Pictures) The wedding to end all weddings is almost upon us in Hollyoaks as Leah Barnes (Charlotte Alex Riley) and Imran Maalik (Ijaz Rana) prepare to walk down the aisle and exchange their vows next week. But with secrets and lies bubbling under the surface, don’t expect proceedings to go quite as planned for the couple, who returned to screens earlier this year. Leah, as viewers are fully aware, has been carrying on with Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) behind groom-to-be Imran’s back – and they’re caught together in upcoming scenes. The pair presumably manage to cover their tracks as the wedding is still set to go ahead the following week. On the night before the ceremony, Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) surprises Imran with a fun-filled coasteering adventure for his stag do, capturing the events on film. Leah, meanwhile, is put out when she learns that Prince has opted to go to the stag do instead of spending time with her. Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence), who is unaware of boyfriend Prince and friend Leah’s betrayal, is at the salon doing the bride-to-be’s nails – but her mood shifts somewhat when her bridesmaid dress arrives. In fact, Vicky freaks out altogether about being a bridesmaid. Later, Leah makes a big discovery as she realises that Imran has already deleted his confession, which leaves her wondering what exactly it is that he confessed to – and what he’s hiding. Determined to get answers, she confronts Imran, who reveals that there was another woman he wanted to marry before they got together. Just how will Leah take the news? That remains to be seen but as the ceremony get underway, panic strikes as Imran proves to be a no show! It turns out that he is with a shaken Vicky, who confides she cannot go to the wedding.
