It’s been amazing weekend projecting this film in IMAX 70mm for around-the-clock sold-out shows. This is the first feature film ever shot end-to-end with film cameras in the IMAX 70mm format (sic)."He further added, "Director Christopher Nolan has been pioneering the use of IMAX cameras for decades, and The Odyssey represents the culmination of that work - pushing the format further than it’s ever gone before. For those of us in IMAX projection, it’s a privilege to bring this 11-mile film print to life exactly as intended (sic)." Concluding his post, Umphenour said that every screening reaffirmed how extraordinary the theatrical experience could still be. He also urged audiences to watch The Odyssey in IMAX 70mm film if they had the opportunity. Not every IMAX screening is the sameAlthough The Odyssey was filmed entirely with IMAX cameras, not every theatre or premium format offers the same viewing experience.
