Imaan, Chattha seek early court hearing

Photo: X ISLAMABAD: Imaan Mazari and Hadi Chattha have moved the court seeking an early hearing of their appeals for the suspension of their sentences, requesting that the matter be fixed for hearing next week. In a miscellaneous application, the petitioners submitted that the Supreme Court had earlier directed the high court to decide the appeals within two weeks, but the order had yet to be implemented. The application further stated that, during the previous hearing, the court had granted them the option of filing a request for an early hearing.
