‘I’m scared’ – Steven Gerrard fears wardrobe malfunction live on TNT Sports after taking on new punditry role

STEVEN GERRARD admitted he was fearing a wardrobe malfunction during his new role on TNT Sports. The Liverpool legend was working as a pundit for the broadcaster for the club’s 2-2 Anfield draw against Nottingham Forest. Umbrellas were on hand to keep themselves from getting wet, but Gerrard was more concerned about protecting his feet. He was wearing brand new trainers and was desperate to keep his feet dry. Gerrard appeared to be struggling with the umbrella and was asked if he was okay by presenter Olivia Buzaglo. He replied: “I’m scared to get my feet wet. “If your feet get wet, you are finished for the day. Others reckoned that Gerrard did not want to slip over and was still haunted by his infamous fall against Chelsea in 2014. One posted: “Facts!!!! Nothing worse than wet feet.” A second commented: “He’s got to be careful to be fair; do not want him to slip again.” A third wrote: “Don’t want Stevie slipping again.” A fourth said: “Last time he got his feet wet Demba Ba took the ball off him.” Another added: “It’s so true.” During Gerrard’s appearance on TNT Sports he tried to help Liverpool re-sign Neco Williams from Forest.
