Actor Dulquer Salmaan’s I’m Game witnessed a slight dip in collections on its second day but remained on a strong footing at the box office. The Nahas Hidhayath directorial earned an estimated Rs 4.60 crore nett in India on Friday, according to trade website Sacnilk.This took the film’s two-day total to Rs 10 crore nett. The film, which opened at Rs 5.40 crore nett on Thursday, recorded a 14.8 per cent drop in its Day 2 collections. Despite the decline, I’m Game managed to cross the Rs 10-crore mark within its first two days.The Dulquer-starrer registered its Day 2 business across 3,145 shows in India. Its India gross collection currently stands at Rs 11.70 crore.Overseas, the film added another Rs 4 crore gross on Friday, taking its cumulative overseas collection to Rs 8.50 crore. Its worldwide gross currently stands at Rs 20.20 crore.The Malayalam version remained the biggest contributor to the film’s India nett collection, earning Rs 3.18 crore from 1,506 shows. Morning shows registered 23.50 per cent occupancy, which rose to 43.08 per cent in the afternoon and 44.58 per cent in the evening. Night shows saw the strongest response, with occupancy reaching 61.42 per cent.I’m Game was originally slated to release in August during the Onam festive period, where it was set to clash with Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Khalifa and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. However, the film’s release was later pushed to September 3.Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, who co-wrote the screenplay with Sajeer Baba, Ismail Aboobacker and Bilal Moidu, the film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under the banner of Wayfarer Films.
