The Ant and Dec-helmed survival-of-the-fittest reality series puts celebrities through their paces in the daunting Australian wilderness as they attempt to choke down creepy crawlies and get up close and personal with the scariest animals around. Last year saw a chaotic concoction of campmates, including Martin Kemp, Vogue Williams, Aitch and Jack Osbourne appear on the ITV show. Producers will no doubt be looking to create some on-screen magic with this year’s cohort as well – especially after the explosive happenings on I’m A Celeb All Stars in spring. From Gemma Collins’ longer-than-48-hour stint to the many, many feuds, there was no end to the drama. Get Me Out of Here 2026, which is now just around the corner, with a November release. Who is rumoured for I’m A Celeb 2026? Wayne Rooney Wayne Rooney could be entering the fray (Picture: Maciej Rogowski/Eurasia Sport Images/Getty Images) Following in the footsteps of his wife Coleen, who entered the jungle two years ago and came second, former England footballer Wayne could be next up. He’s already dived headfirst into the world of reality TV with this new show, The Real Rooneys, and now he could be going solo on live TV. A source told The Sun on Sunday that he was ‘in advanced talks’ to sign on and, if secured, would make him the ‘biggest signing in the show’s history’. When quizzed about it on This Morning at the end of September, the pundit remained coy, simply saying: ‘There’s rumours again this year. So you’ll have to wait and see.’ Jesy Nelson Could singer Jesy Nelson be heading for the jungle? (Picture: Ken McKay/ITV/Shutterstock) The latest star to be rumoured for the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity is former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson. The 35-year-old singer has reportedly held a string of meetings with ITV bosses over a potential six-figure deal to join this year’s series. It comes after she split from Zion Foster and their twin daughters were diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy type 1. A source told The Sun that ‘talks are at a very promising stage’, with Nelson said to be keen to take part both professionally and personally. They added: ‘Continuing to raise awareness around SMA for her girls is something Jesy is very keen to do, and she knows she can use a platform like I’m A Celebrity to reach millions. ‘Jesy also loves challenges and is a huge fan of the show. She’d love to show the public a different side to her.’ ITV bosses are reportedly hoping Nelson will sign her contract in the coming weeks. Metro contacted Nelson’s representative for comment. Joanna Page The Gavin and Stacey star has reportedly met with ITV bosses (Picture: BBC/One Tribe TV) Another star that’s popped out of the rumour mill is Gavin and Stacey’s Joanna Page, who is said to be in ‘advanced talks’ to enter the jungle. The 49-year-old Welsh actress, who played Stacey on the hit BBC sitcom, has reportedly met with ITV bosses to discuss joining this year’s show. A source told The Sun that ‘all signs are looking positive’ from the talks, with Page described as a ‘hugely popular’ name. They added: ‘She’s a huge BBC star and it would be a coup if ITV can get her to sign her contract and put her front and centre on their biggest entertainment show. ‘I’m a Celeb bosses would love to get her in the jungle so the public can get to know the real Joanna. ‘She has confided in friends that she’s really keen to take part and wants to go on and make her children proud.’ Metro contacted Page’s representative for comment. Su-Elise Nash After being part of one of the biggest girl bands of the 00s… (Picture: Carlo Paloni/Getty Images) It’s not I’m A Celebrity if the line-up doesn’t include at least one noughties icon, and it looks like this year it might come in the form of Mis-Teeq star Su-Elise Nash, 45. The music artist rose to prominence as part of the hit girl group alongside Sabrina Washington and Alesha Dixon, with their single Scandalous reaching number two in the charts in 2003. The group broke up to pursue solo careers in 2005 but are reuniting to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Licking On Both Sides, with a special Wembley show this autumn. If she does enter the fray, she’ll be following in the footsteps of bandmate Sabrina, who appeared in the jungle in 2009. A source told The Sun: ‘Su was incredibly supportive of Sabrina’s jungle experience, and now she could get her own shot. …Su-Elise Nash could be coming to the jungle as the band marks its 25th anniversary (Picture: Justin Goff Photos/Getty Images) ‘There have been early talks for her to be considered. The reunion has reminded everyone just how much love there still is for Mis-Teeq.’ The singer almost took part in the show in 2008, so this would be her second shot at it, with the insider adding ‘the timing couldn’t be better’. Nadiya Bychkova The Strictly star could be waltzing into the jungle (Picture: John Walton/PA Wire) Strictly Come Dancing pro Nadiya Bychkova, 36, could be swapping out the dance floor for the jungle later this year. The Ukrainian dancer shocked fans with her exit as a pro from the flagship BBC series after nine years, following a major cast shakeup. But it doesn’t seem as though she’ll be down for the count for long. Given that Strictly often clashes with I’m A Celebrity – both of which are filmed live – this has been her first chance to actually join the show. An insider told The Sun: ‘Nadiya has always been on the radar but has been unable to take part because of her commitment to Strictly. Now she’s a free agent, the offers have been coming in thick and fast. ‘She’s had a number of chats about doing the jungle. Bosses are so impressed with her, it’s even been suggested she turns down other shows.’ After her departure as a pro from Strictly was confirmed, she took to social media to tease that her journey with the show ‘isn’t over’ and it remains to be seen if she’ll return as a choreographer or in another position. Christopher Dean Well-known former figure skater, Christopher Dean, has always reportedly said no… (Picture: Dyson/WPA Pool/Shutterstock) One half of Olympic skating duo Torvill and Dean could be gliding their way into the jungle this autumn. Christopher Dean is the latest celebrity to be rumoured as a potential campmate in the jungle. Alongside his ice-dancing partner, Janye Torvill, Christopher won gold at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics. Since then the beloved pair have judged and coached on ITV’s Dancing on Ice, before it was cancelled in 2025. Later this year, Christopher could be swapping the skates for a pair of hiking shoes if he is to join the channel’s hit reality show. According to The Sun, Christopher is in chats with ITV producers, after having been on their wish list for years. A source told the publication: ‘He’s always been adamant the jungle isn’t for him. …until now! (Picture: Hogan/Hogan Media/Shutterstock) ‘When bosses came knocking this year, he saw it in a different light. He’s recently retired and is looking for a new challenge. ‘I’m A Celebrity is certainly that, so he has met with producers a few times already to talk through being a campmate for this year’s standard Australian series.’ AJ Odudu The Big Brother star’s calendar has freed up (Picture: Shutterstock for Big Brother) Next up, we have Big Brother co-host AJ Odudu, 38, who is reportedly ‘keen as mustard’ to sign up to the insect-infested reality series. With her airtime on Big Brother, which is currently airing on ITV, diminished, it has opened her calendar up to go down under. ‘AJ loves the show and would love facing the Bushtucker Trials,’ an insider told The Sun. Ricky Wilson Is Ricky Wilson swapping the microphone for maggots? (Picture: Getty) The I Predict a Riot singer, Ricky Wilson, could be donning an Australian bush hat before long. An insider told The Sun that the show bosses had been trying to sign the Kaiser Chiefs frontman for years but had always been met with a polite decline. ‘Now he’s finally given in. Bosses are overjoyed and think he will be a great addition to the camp,’ the insider added. Ade Adeptian This iconic Paralympian could make I’m A Celeb history (Picture: Jacob King/PA Wire) Sports personality Ade Adepitan was reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ to join the jungle as far back as July. If true, he would become the first wheelchair user on the show. ‘Producers are currently looking at ways to adapt the camp to make it work for Ade. ‘They think his infectious larger-than-life personality would make him a perfect campmate for the new series,’ a source told The Sun. Ben Stokes Cricket star Ben Stokes could be signed up (Picture: Jacob King/PA Wire) Earlier this year, the England Cricket star announced his retirement in a shock move. But could he shock even more by immediately joining I’m A Celebrity? The odds certainly seem to be in his favour if that’s the case. Ladbrokes confirmed he was 4/1 to appear on the new series so time will tell. When does I’m A Celebrity 2026 start? I’m A Celebrity 2026 will return in November this year. Who won I’m A Celebrity 2025? Social media influencer Angry Ginge won the show in 2025 (Picture: James Gourley/ITV/Shutterstock) Last year, livestreamer and football influencer AngryGinge was crowned King of the Jungle after a gruelling few weeks jam-packed with tough bush tucker trials. ‘I feel amazing. Honestly, (it is a) dream come true. I did not think I’d go all this way, never mind win, so thank you to everyone who voted,’ he said at the time. Celebs Go Dating star Tom Wilson and EastEnders icon Shona McGarty came second and third, respectively. Meanwhile, Adam Thomas was dubbed ‘ultimate jungle legend’ this year after a turbulent time on the all-stars version.
