IIT Bombay apologises for earlier statements on student’s death, denies director’s resignation

IIT Bombay, in a fresh statement, has said director Shireesh Kedare has not resigned. IIT Bombay issued an apology on Monday regarding its statement over the death of the student, which has caused massive uproar across the institute. The details and circumstances leading up to the incident remain subject to investigation by the appropriate authorities.
