The students have also demanded a thorough and transparent external investigation into the case of Sahil. They want the minutes of meetings and reports from all stages of the Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) process to be made public anonymously on the institute forum.The protesters have further demanded that hostel expulsion should not be included among punitive measures imposed on students. (Photo: ITG) STUDENTS SEEK INDEPENDENT WELFARE BODYThe students have called for the Student Welfare Committee (SWC) to function as an independent entity. They have also demanded that the Dean of Student Welfare be a medically qualified professional.Another demand is for the Director to issue a statement clarifying that students participating in the protest are not supporting any form of cheating.The protesters have also sought assurance that no action will be taken against students participating in the demonstration.SUJAT AMBEDKAR REACHES IIT BOMBAY GATEVanchit Bahujan Aghadi leader Sujat Ambedkar reached the IIT Bombay Gate during the ongoing protest.
