IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placements: Bain, BCG, Goldman Sachs top recruiters in Cluster 1

Over 85 roles were offered across consulting, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity, among other sectors.The placement process was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing recruiters to participate both online and in person. The first cluster covered six cohorts, including advisory consulting, management consulting, transformation and operations consulting, investment banking and markets, cards and financial advisory, and private equity/venture capital, asset management and hedge funds.TOP CONSULTING AND BANKING FIRMS PARTICIPATELeading consulting firms participating in the process included McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Bain & Company, Accenture Strategy, EY-Parthenon, Kearney, Oliver Wyman and L.E.K. Consulting.The investment banking and markets cohort featured global financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Barclays, Citibank, HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank. Private equity and investment management firms, including Blackstone, Ares Management, Gaja Capital, Multiples Alternate Asset Management and Aquilon Capital, also participated. American Express, Cranmore Partners and Synergy Consulting were among the recruiters in the cards and financial advisory cohort.INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES ON OFFERThe cluster also featured international opportunities, including roles associated with EY-Parthenon in Singapore and Goldman Sachs and HSBC in Hong Kong, highlighting the global reach of recruitment opportunities available to students.IIM Ahmedabad will conduct the second and third placement clusters on October 27 and October 30, respectively.
