The pair formed the group after they left the iconic indie band, Suede. Most read in Showbiz During the years they were together, the band’s line-up changed a lot but both Justine and Justin remained part of the group until they split in 2001. During their time together, Elastica pumped out hit after hit. Their self- titled debut album alone included classics like Connection, Stutter, Line Up, and Waking Up. During their time in the spotlight Justine’s love life was a hot topic of conversation. This is because she was one half of a Brit Pop power couple with Blur star Damon Albarn, now 58. Fans couldn’t get enough of their romance, but the rock pair later broke up in 1998. Their split served as inspirations for the Blur tracks, Tender and No Distance Left to Run. Comment now
