‘Ico’, ‘Shadow Of The Colossus’ and ‘The Last Guardian’ soundtracks coming to vinyl

Soundtracks from three classic Team Ico games – Ico, Shadow Of The Colossus and The Last Guardian – are getting limited-edition vinyl releases. The game sees our plucky hero Ico team up with Yorda, a helpless girl with magic abilities, to escape a castle and its villainous queen. The game was praised by critics and developed a cult following. The same development team worked on 2005’s Shadow Of The Colossus. The Ico prequel stars Wander, a young man who enters an isolated and abandoned region of the realm seeking the power to revive a girl named Mono. That was followed up by The Last Guardian in 2016. “Players control a boy who befriends a giant legendary creature named Trico; the two must work together to escape the dangerous ruins of an ancient civilization.” Fans of the The Team Ico series can now grab three different vinyl, courtesy of iam8bit. The Shadow Of The Colossus 2LP collection has been repressed on translucent coloured vinyl, “packed with composer Kow Otani’s awe-inspiring songs and featuring epic album art from Nimit Malavia” while The Last Guardian 2LP set features Takeshi Furukawa’s timeless, orchestral score. Recommended The Ico vinyl is available for $31.99 while both The Shadow Of The Colossus and The Last Guardian will cost $42.99. Pre-orders for all three vinyl are live now and will run until August 31, ahead of a Q4 2026 release.
