ICAI has issued the full January 2027 Chartered Accountancy exam schedule for Foundation and Intermediate candidates, covering centres across India and three overseas cities. Details hereThe Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the schedule for the January 2027 Chartered Accountancy examinations, including the Foundation and Intermediate courses. The examinations will be conducted in January 2027 across examination centres in India and three overseas cities.The CA Intermediate examinations will be conducted in two groups. Group 1 papers will be held on January 2, 4 and 6, 2027, while Group 2 examinations are scheduled for January 8, 10 and 12, 2027.All Intermediate papers will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm and will have a duration of three hours. Candidates will also get 15 minutes of advance reading time, from 1:45 pm to 2 pm, before the examination begins.CA FOUNDATION EXAMS ON JANUARY 3, 5, 7 AND 9The CA Foundation examinations will be held on January 3, 5, 7 and 9, 2027. Papers 1 and 2 will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm, with a three-hour duration. Papers 3 and 4 will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm and will have a duration of two hours. ICAI has clarified that candidates appearing for Papers 1 and 2 will receive 15 minutes of advance reading time from 1:45 pm to 2 pm. No advance reading time will be provided for Papers 3 and 4.CA JANUARY 2027 EXAMS: CENTRES IN INDIA AND ABROADAccording to the ICAI notification, the January 2027 examinations will be conducted across examination cities in India. The list includes Delhi/New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and other cities. The examinations will also be conducted at three overseas centres --- Bahrain, Dubai and Kathmandu. The examination commencement times at these centres will be adjusted to correspond with the 2 pm IST start time.CA JANUARY 2027 EXAM FORMS: IMPORTANT DATESICAI has also announced the schedule for submitting examination application forms through its Self Service Portal (SSP).The online application window will open on November 3, 2026. The last date to submit the form without a late fee is November 16, 2026. Candidates will be able to submit forms with a late fee of Rs 600 until November 19, 2026.The correction window for changing the examination city or medium will remain open from November 20 to 22, 2026.NO CHANGE IF EXAM DATE BECOMES PUBLIC HOLIDAYICAI has specifically stated that there will be no change in the examination schedule if any of the scheduled dates are subsequently declared public holidays by the Central Government, a state government or local authorities.Candidates preparing for the January 2027 CA examinations should note the dates and complete their examination applications within the prescribed deadlines.
