I test three brightening pink powders to help with oily skin – my favourite is worth the splurge

SETTING powder is essential for those with oily skin, but the matte finish can dull skin. A new breed of brightening pink powders promise to solve the problem. So I’ve put three to the test. That aside, the formula gives make-up a blurred appearance, and managed to keep my oily skin looking matte for around half a day. A little goes a really long way, so the tub will last ages, and it keeps my make-up in place all day. Most read in Fabulous The pink shade isn’t nearly as pigmented as the Maybelline, but it still left my under-eyes looking a fraction brighter. Packaging aside, it’s my favourite of the three, and well worth the splurge. It’s virtually weightless, so you don’t feel it on your face, and it takes down shine without completely mattifying skin, but you can build it up if you want more oil absorption.
