‘I know what you want’ – Dana White launches X-rated blast then walks out of press conference over AJ vs Fury question

DANA WHITE last night blasted that he’s “f***ing tired” of talking about Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury. Further quizzed by SunSport’s Jack Figg whether he will still be involved in the British superfight if it happens in the UK, White laughed before asking: “Any other questions?” Probed over what’s changed in the last week regarding his stance on AJ vs Fury, White said: “I’m f***ing tired of it. I’m so f***ing tired of talking about it. “I know what you want. I know what you want out of me. “You’ll get it soon, I promise. You’ll get it soon, I promise.” White then walked out of the press conference. Ahead of Benn-Garcia, White had accused Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn of sabotaging the mooted Joshua-Fury bout. White, 57, said: “I’ve never seen a guy who’s supposed to be a promoter hurt a fight more than this guy has. “At the end of the day, whether I promote this fight or not, it doesn’t change anything in my life, but he’s hurting this fight. “He’s hurting [Anthony Joshua], he’s hurting [Tyson] Fury, it’s the weirdest thing ever.” White also called Hearn “full of s***” last month after the Matchroom boss dismissed claims that Joshua vs Fury was a done deal for November. Joshua, 36, has been leading the charge for the bout to be staged in the UK, despite Netflix and Saudi financier Turki Alalshikh pushing for a US venue. Earlier this week Cardiff’s Principality Stadium emerged as a shock contender to host the fight – but only if its 10:30pm curfew is axed. It was claimed that the fight could start as late as 2am in order to accommodate the US market. The same venue made a similar allowance in order for Joe Calzaghe‘s 2007 fight with Mikkel Kessler to begin at 2am. Comment now
