It’s something I first wrote about back in March, when I revealed that “the Gillingham footballer has rekindled the romance with his ex, Emily Rose Moloney.” I’m quoting my original story there, because the words are important. At the time Emily hit back – passionately – online and said: “I am categorically not in a relationship with Brad, nor have I actually ever been.” Because, just in case you missed the key phrase, I never actually reported that Emily WAS “in a relationship” with Brad. Instead I explained that Olivia had not been surprised to hear the rumours that the duo were seeing each other, as she’d long held suspicions about them. When I wrote the story, Olivia was accused of being behind a vicious briefing campaign against Brad and Emily. Next chapter. Last week Emily and Brad were snapped by photographers outside her flat in south-east London. Sources told the Mail that Brad had been spending “more and more time” at Emily’s and together they had been to a Lewis Capaldi gig at London’s Hyde Park a fortnight ago. Now, on to those screenshots which are burning a hole in Olivia’s favourites folder. Her anger was sparked by Emily posting on Instagram on Monday, laughing off the pap pics of her and Brad. Sharing a video of her in a photo booth, the pretty brunette wrote: “Back when I thought a bad passport picture would be the worst thing I saw of myself that week” It led to fiery Liv posting a ranty series of Stories herself. She wrote: “I have definitely beat myself up over my poor judgement over the last decade. “But I guess I could have spent 10 years as the bit on the side / professional bench warmer so silver linings I guess. “These people get themselves tangled in their own web of lies. All you have to do it sit back and wait. “Took 7 months of people trying to make me think I was crazy and they are coming out the woodwork now.” Then, setting the internet alight, she wrote: “Guys I’m about to get soooo messy. Which brings us to the reason why you’re here, reading this – what exactly is in those screenshots? I should declare that I have not seen them. Contrary to reports, my stories don’t come as part of a “briefing campaign” from Olivia and her team but from my own independent sources, so I can’t just text Liv and ask her to send me over her receipts. But I know the contents of those screenshots because they’re exactly what my original story, back in March, were based on. The screenshots confirm that Brad was first entangled (seeing / dated / got to know – call it what you will) with Emily in 2017. That frisson ended when Olivia appeared on ITV’s Love Island as furious Brad launched a campaign to win her back.
