WHEN an old collage friend asked Georgia Horton to read his fantasy novel she thought nothing of it. She never got past the first chapter due to her busy schedule but had she read on she might have discovered the sick inner workings of Ethan Orchard. Georgia has bravely told how she discovered her former friend was stealing her lingerie photos and uploading them to a lurid sex website to play out deplorable fantasies about raping her – and how she helped take down a global paedophile ring by reporting him to police. Georgia, 28, was left horrified when she found out her friend of 10 years edited her modelling photos with AI in an explicit fashion then shared them on a depraved website. Pervert Orchard, 30, posted captions like ‘Would you rape her?’ and wrote out ‘rape and torture fantasies’ as he uploaded the pictures of Georgia. Images of Georgia and two other women that Orchard knew were plastered on a website in 2023 that was run by a global paedophile ring. Georgia had posted photos of herself in lingerie on Instagram which Orchard ‘lifted’ to put on the site, seemingly editing them with AI beforehand, but keeping her clearly identifiable. In speaking to British police, Georgia helped pave the way for the FBI in the USA to take down the sick website which had more than one million child abuse images on it. Georgia has opened up about how Orchard, her college friend, would upload images of her and two other women in a post that said “Game: who gets saved, who gets raped and who gets sold?” Most read in Fabulous Orchard, who has now been jailed, even wrote a disturbing Doctor Who fanfiction novel which featured Georgia being sexually abused. He had asked her to read the story, but she never read past the first chapter, and only found out about the horrifying contents when police read it. Georgia, a freelance model who also uses the name Rayna Ives, went to college with Orchard in 2014 in the Portsmouth area in Hampshire, where she is from. Georgia and Orchard remained friends after college and spoke every few months. They were in the same friendship groups, but Orchard was often left out from social events according to Georgia. Georgia recommended a website to him where he could share his creative writing after they spoke about his interest in the subject about 10 years ago. “The story he was writing on the site then became a rather large part of the case itself,” Georgia says. Orchard’s username on this website turned out to be the same one he used on the paedophile ring’s website. She says: “It was a Doctor Who fanfic, is what he told me it was, and to an extent I guess it was. “I read the first chapter and I intended to read the rest, but life got in the way. “I just think now, what if I had read more of that story and seen the graphic things he had done with characters with our names? “I think about how differently things could have turned out if I had read that earlier. “I don’t know what I would have done. “I would have been very irked. I would have confronted him about it, but then what would have come about then?” She shared it with police without having read it. Detectives read on and realised the story featured ‘rape and torture fantasies’ about Orchard’s three victims. The story, which was set in space, also featured a character which was a ‘dark version’ of Orchard himself. “It was almost like an alter ego,” Georgia says. “It was kind of this Jack the Ripper type character with this big sinister mouth and razor sharp teeth. “I still remember the drawings that he used to do.” Following police enquiries in the UK, Orchard, from Portsmouth, was arrested and charged with three counts of sharing a photograph of a person in an intimate state for the purpose of sexual gratification, and one count of encouraging the commission of an offence and believing it will be committed. Orchard pleaded guilty to the offences at Portsmouth Crown Court and last week was jailed for three years and four months. Orchard was also made subject to a 10 year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and was given an indefinite restraining order. Georgia says: “I’ve had this sense of separation, because I’m up in Scotland and part of me has dissociated from it. “Most of the time I’m just angry and bewildered at the audacity, I think especially as now it’s all come to a close.” Georgia continues: “I already have PTSD from sexual trauma from the past, so this is stirring it up a lot. “I have had to up my medication and I don’t really go out.” She now doesn’t want to go and see her friends in America because that means going to the place where that website originated, where people have potentially seen her face with Orchard’s captions. Georgia continues: “I have no idea how many people saw those posts, where they live, if they recognise us, if they know us, if they would be able to recognise us in the street.” She says that what pushes her to go on is the fact that victims of child sex abuse can be helped as a result of police’s investigations into Orchard – which came about after she and the other two women reported what he was doing. Hampshire Constabulary discovered that the website Orchard was posting the images on was in fact being used by a ‘global paedophile ring’ to sell child sex abuse material. The British force tipped off the FBI, and it has led to Special Agents in the USA making a number of arrests to those connected to the child abuse ring. US authorities have now seized over one million indecent images from the website, and identified more than 50 victims of child sex abuse spanning the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has identified 10 offenders comprised of two money mules based in the US, seven customers of child abuse material based in Florida, as well as Turkish resident Mehmet Bozuyuk who is alleged to have led the conspiracy by using stolen identities to facilitate the global sale and distribution of child sex abuse material. Judicial proceedings remain ongoing in America, and a warrant is currently active for the arrest of Bozuyuk. Orchard also shared wedding photos of a woman he knew on the website used by the global paedophile ring at the end of 2023.
