LOOKING at herself in the mirror, Sian Jesson felt frustrated. For once again she felt like her J-cup boobs made her look “like a wh***”. Fed up of lecherous looks and comments from “creepy” men, and the physical burden her boobs put on her back and shoulders, the NHS health advisor is now is flogging “everything she owns” to raise cash for a reduction on her giant boobs. Sign up for the Fabulous newsletter Thank you! Sian claims she was put on an NHS waiting list at age 19 but was repeatedly “dismissed” by doctors who told her she needed to lose weight. Despite dropping from 11st to 10st between 2021 and 2023, Sian alleges she was told she needed to lose even more weight, which led to her developing an eating disorder. In the clip she explains how her breasts are “so sexualised” and that “everything I wear I literally just look like a wh***”. As well as selling items on Vinted, Sian’s pal has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds towards the surgery too. Sian, from Cradley, West Midlands, said: “I’m constantly sexualised for my breasts. Most read in Fabulous “I remember when I was 15 I went to town with my friends to go shopping and a man kept staring at me and came over and asked if my boobs were real. “I get it all the time, ‘are your boobs real?’ I just think it’s really inappropriate and people just stare when I go out, it’s horrible. “I still get creepy men making comments and staring, it’s worse now I’m an adult. “I absolutely hate my boobs. I can’t even look at them in the mirror. They make me feel so uncomfortable. They’re just so heavy as well. “The top of my back just hurts all the time and I’ve got indents in my shoulders from wearing bras. “I have to wear two bras to the gym just to hold them up. If I go to the gym, if I just want to wear a sports bra, I can’t because people just stare. “It’s like people have never seen boobs before and it just makes me feel so uncomfortable. “I do try to cover them up but I also do want to wear what I want to wear so it’s hard. I want to wear what all the other girls are wearing but I can’t because it’s just not possible.” At school Sian was subject to bullying, with cruel kids even making fake social media accounts to share pictures of her. Sian said: “[School kids] made comments or made fake Instagram accounts of me and put pictures of boobs on there. “I had to have counselling and it was really bad. There wasn’t anyone else like it at school at the time. We went to the doctors and they said ‘you have to be 18’. “It upsets me because I feel like that’s what people know me for, especially when I was single as well. That’s all people were interested in, not about me and just my breasts. “It does get me down. It stops me wanting to speak to people, it’s a horrible feeling.” After being put on an NHS waiting list for breast reduction surgery Sian says she had physiotherapy, counselling and did back stretches to try and relieve her pain but nothing helped. Sian, who is 5ft 6in, said: “It makes me sad because I do fit all the criteria boxes and it is frustrating when you know you fit the criteria and even the surgeons have said I need the surgery. “I think it’s just ridiculous, it’s not like I’m getting it done for cosmetic reasons. It’s my physical and mental health I’m getting it done for. “A lot of surgeons are male and a man can understand it but they’ve never experienced it. The surgeons were more bothered about weight and BMI. “It’s just upsetting especially when I got to the weight they wanted me to be at. It made me really unwell and gave me an eating disorder, it was so bad. “I needed to get that surgery and I was so set on it and ended up making myself really poorly. I did continue to lose weight until I got to about 10 stone but I couldn’t keep up with it anymore.” Sian is urging women to explore their options and hopes speaking out about her struggle will help others feel less alone. You can donate to Sian’s fundraiser here. Sian said: “I actually think this would change my life, I’ve wanted to do it since I was 15. Apparently breathing is so different because I do find breathing difficult as well because it’s so heavy on your chest. “I just need to sell my clothes and every penny I get now is going towards my breast reduction surgery because that’s my main priority. “I’m going to stop going out and buying stuff. I just need to get my boobs done. It was a really selfless thing for Callie to do [set up a GoFundMe] to try to make my dreams come true and I hope every female has a friend like her. “I don’t expect people to donate but if they could that would be amazing, they’d literally change my life. Not many people speak about it and it does make me sad. You’re not alone in feeling the way that you do. “It’s mental the number of people messaging me saying they feel the same. I thought I was so alone in this and I was going to be stuck like this forever. ” It does get better and I’d either just keep trying on the NHS if you can. “If not, if you can afford it, maybe do look at going private as there are some amazing surgeries out there and that’s what I’ve had to resort to.” NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board have been contacted for a comment.
