Hygiene maintained or...: Salman's warning to friend has a Tukaram Mundhe twist

Salman Khan has a message for his friend’s new cafe, and it comes with a rather funny warning. The actor took to Instagram Stories to share a video from The Tuck Shop at Savio’s in Bandra, Mumbai, while reminding the cafe to get its coffee, prices and hygiene right.Resharing a video posted by the cafe owner, Salman wrote, “Refill my coffee ya please. Price mat badhana, quality maintain karna. Hygiene maintained or I will send HIM and it's done sis”.The actor did not name the person he was referring to, but the “HIM” appears to be a cheeky reference to Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe, who has recently become known for his strict action against restaurants and food outlets over hygiene violations.Mundhe has been at the centre of several inspections across Maharashtra, with food outlets facing action over issues including unhygienic kitchens, expired products and other violations. His crackdown has even seen outlets of major food chains temporarily shut following inspections. Salman, meanwhile, added another joke to his message by ending it with “it's done sis”, a playful twist on his now-viral “It's done, bro” catchphrase. So, while Salman was clearly asking for his coffee refill, the message was also a friendly reminder to his friend: keep the prices in check, maintain the quality and, above all, don't mess with the hygiene.Salman Khan’s work front On the work front, Salman fans are awaiting clarity on Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.
