Hyderabad man stabs live-in partner to death over marriage row, stuffs body in bag

Police said the couple got into an argument after she asked him to marry her.The accused and the victim has been dating for a year and she shifted in with him two months ago.A 23-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her live-in partner in Hyderabad following an argument over marriage. After the murder, the accused stuffed the body a gunny bag in an attempt to dispose of it, police said on Monday.The incident took place on Sunday night. The accused, who works as a labourer, is currently on the run and police teams have been formed to trace him.According to the preliminary investigation, the woman, a native of Bihar, had been in a relationship with the accused for around a year and had been living at his house for the past two months.Police said the couple got into an argument on Sunday night after the woman asked him to marry her. The accused refused, following which he attacked her with a knife. Locals alerted the police after finding the gunny bag. Teams reached the spot and found the woman's body inside the sack. Blood stains were also found inside the room.Police identified the woman and informed her family in Bihar.
