Police are investigating after human remains were found at a property in Waiomio, Northland.Detective inspector Michele Gillespie said police were called to the property on Monday afternoon and a scene guard has been in place overnight.Gillespie said police are working to recover the body and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.She said the identity of the body is yet to be established and a full scene search and post mortem examination will be carried out on Tuesday.
