Actors Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem made a late-night visit to Delhi's Jantar Mantar to express solidarity with the ongoing student protest over irregularities in NEET examinations. Videos of the siblings at the protest site have surfaced on social media, adding to the growing list of film personalities backing the agitation.The student protest at Jantar Mantar has been drawing attention. Along with members of the public, several stars have also started extending support to the protest, with some posting on social media and others reaching the protest site in person.Huma and Saqib were seen at Jantar Mantar after Salman Khan recently shared a post supporting the student protest. Videos and photos circulating online showed Huma at the site in support of the students, and which have now gone viral. Huma was seen wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, while Saqib white T-shirt and grey jeans.Several Bollywood stars have also reacted to the violence that took place during the protest. Salman Khan, in a recent Instagram post, voiced support for the students protesting at Jantar Mantar and praised them for peacefully demanding a better education system. He said the movement should not be politicised and wrote that he was saddened that the protest had taken a violent turn during the Chalo Sansad march on July 20. He also expressed solidarity with students and their families who were hurt, called paper leaks a very serious issue, and thanked parents for standing by the students. The CJP-led movement emerged after the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and has grown into a nationwide protest over repeated examination irregularities. The students have been demanding greater transparency and accountability in the examination system, along with stricter safeguards against paper leaks, broader reforms, compensation for affected candidates and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
