She said: “Traitors is a good show. “I wanna be on Traitors. But I keep saying, ‘I think if I went on it, they would immediately vote me off because they would think I’m a Traitor’. Sign up for the Showbiz newsletter Thank you! “I feel like when you have a big personality, people just automatically assume it’s you.” Unfortunately, she has missed the boat for series two of The Celebrity Traitors, as it has already been filmed featuring big names including Love Island host Maya Jama and actor Michael Sheen. But I’d love to see her in the castle next time, alongside some of our British favourites. US star Megan has recently been back in the studio and said her next album, Act III, will feature “overdue collaborations that will shock the people”. She added: “It is going to be one of my favourite projects I ever put out because I definitely took my time with this one.” After a stint on Broadway in Moulin Rouge earlier this year, Meg has developed ambitious plans as an actress, too. Most read in Showbiz She told Michelle Obama’s IMO podcast: “I was so nervous. I had never done anything like that before. “But now I’m like, ‘What else do y’all want me to do? I can do that’. I would do it again because I want that Tony [award]. That’s on my list of things I need. “I’m really wanting to take my artistry bigger. I don’t only want to do music — I do want to get into acting. That’s just something I really want to pursue right now. “Queen Latifah is my girl. I’m definitely a student of hers. “This is who I’m modelling myself after.” Cardi in a cardie Cardi B opted for a surprisingly down-to-earth outfit featuring capri pants, heels, a yellow top and blue cardigan, while keeping her trademark talon-like nails Credit: Splash We’re so used to seeing Cardi B in the most skimpy and sensational clobber that I had to do a double take when she appeared in this surprsingly down-to-earth outfit. The singer looking like she was on the way to an office job in capri pants and heels with a yellow top and blue cardigan, but she kept her trademark talon-like nails. She wasn’t as formal, however, when it came to addressing her fans after they moaned about her latest single Ah Ha. Cardi said: “When y’all complain, it doesn’t make me want to sit down. No, it makes me want to say, ‘I ain’t doing s**t’. “I told myself I’d take the summer off. I’m going to live my best life.” Travis is talking Taylor Swift has kept tight-lipped about her wedding to Travis Kelce, but the Kansas City Chiefs star has opened up about their big day Credit: Getty Taylor Swift may be keeping tight-lipped about her wedding to Travis Kelce, but her NFL hubby isn’t. The Kansas City Chiefs star used the first pre-season conference to gush about his new wife and their big day last month at New York’s Madison Square Garden – although it sounds as though having air con during a 38C heatwave was one of the highlights. Travis said: “It was a fun off-season, man. The wedding was the best night of my life, it was a crazy perfect – it was a crazy night. “We wanted a private event, it was perfect and the AC was cooking, baby, that was the best part.” The couple’s over-the-top nuptials at the music and sports venue have divided fans, with some branding the lavish occasion tacky. But Travis, left, with Taylor, insisted everything was just how they wanted it. He said: “It was kind of cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married there. “I can’t thank the owners of MSG enough for allowing us the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event and everything, and it was perfect.” Travis is expected to return to the pitch tomorrow, when the Chiefs take on Los Angeles Rams. And no doubt Taylor will be there cheering him on. Mani’s family slam tributes Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield’s family and friends have criticised plans for more tribute gigs without consulting them Credit: Getty The family and friends of late Stone Roses bassist Gary “Mani” Mounfield have criticised plans to stage more gigs in his memory without consulting them. A tribute gig took place in Manchester in May with Cast and Peter Hook among the performers and now promoters are planning further events but this has troubled those close to Mani. A statement attributed to his family and friends said: “To see his identity exploited to push external profiles and fill venues, without anyone reaching out to his family for permission, is incredibly upsetting at an already painful time.” The name’s Blunt… James Blunt channels James Bond as he films the promo for his new single Tastes Like Summer on a speedboat in Ibiza Credit: Jack Howard James Blunt seems to be chanelling James Bond in the video for his new single. My exclusive snap shows him looking all 007 on a speedboat in Ibiza while filming the promo for breezy track Tastes Like Summer. Natasha Bedingfield has also returned with her new single Dot Dot Dot to kick off a new chapter after her back catalogue of songs including Unwritten and These Words went viral on TikTok. She said: “A lot of times when people have hits 20 years ago, that’s their peak. For me, I never felt like I reached it yet. In these shows that I’m doing at the moment, I’m starting to feel like I am getting there.” I also recommend Remember Monday’s banger Attention, Kamille’s single Together and the new album from Ayra Starr, Starrgirl. It’s a big Willy cast Helena Bonham Carter, Kate Winslet and Nicola Coughlan have joined Kit Connor and Taika Waititi in the voice cast for Netflix’s upcoming animation Charlie vs. The Chocolate Factory. The film, in cinemas November 2027 and on the streaming service the following month, will see Willy Wonka (Taika), battling to take the chocolate factory back from Charlie (Connor). Scunny day for Tempah? Tinie Tempah famously rapped that he’d “been Southampton, but I’ve never been to Scunthorpe,” in his 2010 hit Pass Out. Now, 16 years on, he might finally be visiting. Superfan and content creator Ben Johns comes from the Lincolnshire town and started a campaign to get him to perform there, with the wheels now in motion. Tinie reached out to him and said if he can get 5,000 pre-saves on streaming services for his upcoming album The Night’s Not Dead, he will pay a long-awaited visit to Scunthorpe. I’ve given it a free save already, so it will automatically be in my Spotify library when it drops on October 16. And, with it being nine years since the rapper put out his last record, I’m sure it will be worth the wait. The rapper, who has scored with hits Give Me Everything, Timber and On The Floor, has called the record Pitcoin and it is due to be released on October 8. Euro city prompts fan fury Burgas has been chosen as Bulgaria’s host city for Eurovision 2027, despite fans hoping the contest would be held in Sofia – and many are not happy Credit: Eurovision Burgas has been chosen as Bulgaria’s host city for 2027’s Eurovision – and fans aren’t too happy. Many had hoped the capital Sofia would be chosen, but the coastal hub, with a population of just 210,000, got the nod. This year’s contest attracted 40,000 international fans to Vienna, but it‘s unlikely that many will be able to go in 2027, with many Burgas hotels already at capacity. One angry fan wrote online: “The nearest available accommodation is an apartment 35km outside of Burgas. Great choice.” Dara won the contest in May with her song Bangaranga and said she hoped it would come to her home city of Sofia. With daily flights from the UK, fans might be able to get there – but whether they’ll have a place to kip is another question altogether. Burlesque’s got teasing problems Burlesque The Musical, starring Faye Brookes, has delayed its UK tour opening night for a third time, citing ‘technical difficulties’ Credit: Pamela Raith The UK tour of Burlesque The Musical is turning into a real spectacle – and not the good kind. It delayed its opening night for a third time yesterday, citing “technical difficulties”. The show, starring Faye Brookes, was originally meant to launch at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking on July 25. That run was delayed to November, with a new opening date set for August 6 at Sunderland Empire. That got moved to August 13, but it hasn’t come to fruition either. I have been told there is complete chaos behind the scenes – and that just over half of the seats have been sold for what is now supposed to be the opening show in Sunderland this evening. Another production of the show by the same team was due to open in London next month, but that’s already been moved to next year, due to further issues behind the scenes. It’s rapidly becoming the biggest palaver in theatre, so my heart goes out to the embattled cast and crew. Paris Jackson says she didn’t meet her mum Debbie Rowe until she was 15 It wasn’t until four years after her superstar father Michael’s death in 2009 that they connected. He got full custody of Paris in the divorce from Debbie in 2000, when she was just two Paris told the Call Her Daddy podcast: “I remember asking about it when I was around ten or 11, and the answers I got were sufficient to me. “Just like – ‘Oh, what’s her name?’ “I moved on, and we connected when I was about 15, and then started getting closer towards the end of my teens.” Comment now
