OASIS could be set to headline Glastonbury next year after fans spotted a huge clue. While the brothers will certainly have a jam-packed schedule next year, fans have noticed a sign they could be returning to Glastonbury together for the first time in 12 years. Glastonbury Festival is traditionally held over the last full weekend of June, running for five days from Wednesday to Sunday. The gap in Noel and Liam’s tour appears to align well with the famous festival – but are they really going to take the stage at Worthy Farm? Liam has previously played as a solo act at Glastonbury three times, as has Noel, appearing on stage once in 2022 alongside the High Flying Birds. They tore up the stage together for the first time in 1994 before returning to headline in 1995 and 2004. Back in August, Liam emphatically ruled out Oasis headlining Glastonbury next year in a very sweary post on X. Most read in Showbiz A fan account on X wrote: “According to The Scotsman, Oasis are among the favourites to headline Glastonbury 2027, with odds 4/1. “Could we see them return to the Pyramid Stage?” Liam didn’t seem interested in the gig in the slightest, replying: “It’s not HAPPENING so all you croc wearing flag waving sh*t c**ts can calm the f**k down.” After opening their 2027 tour with five concerts in Glasgow, Man City fanatics Noel, 59, and Liam, 53 will start an 11-night residency at City’s Etihad Stadium on June 4. The pair will then play concerts in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome in July, before six shows in Boston and Las Vegas. Noel and Liam will then fly to Ireland for two concerts at Slane Castle from September 4, before moving to Knebworth for four gigs from September 11. A source told The Sun: “The gigs announced so far are only the first batch. There’s more to come. “Knebworth was being lined up for six concerts which would break records. There’s no way Noel and Liam will go out without a bang. And Knebworth is huge for them.” We also revealed The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft will be supporting the rock band, but now bands Cast and the Manic Street Preachers have also been tipped to join the stage on the international tour. Indie rockers Cast have already supported Oasis on their 2025 reunion to and bookies now have the at 5/4 favourites to play at Oasis’ Knebworth concerts.
