Hrithik Roshan backs Sonam Wangchuk, says students' struggles sound true

Actor Hrithik Roshan has extended his support to activist and educationist Sonam Wangchuk, who is on an indefinite hunger strike over alleged examination irregularities. Joining several members of the film fraternity who have voiced their concerns, Hrithik shared Wangchuk's message on social media and called for justice for students.On Friday, Hrithik reposted a reel of Wangchuk, originally shared by actor Lisa Ray, on his Instagram Stories. Reacting to the activist's message, the actor said that his words resonated with him and expressed solidarity with the cause.Hrithik wrote, “This sounds true. I learnt about the trauma students go through when I played a teacher in one of my movies (sic).”The actor's comment came after Wangchuk questioned the alleged examination paper leaks and spoke about the impact of such issues on students and society. In the video shared by Hrithik, Wangchuk questioned the alleged examination irregularities and urged people to raise their voices. He highlighted the struggles of students who prepare for competitive exams and said that such issues could impact the future of the country.Hrithik's reaction also reminded fans of his role as mathematician and educator Anand Kumar in Vikas Bahl's Super 30, a film based on Kumar's journey of mentoring underprivileged students. Meanwhile, protests over alleged irregularities and exam paper leaks have been ongoing at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The Cockroach Janata Party began the protest on June 6, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
