After orchestrating a ruse by hanging up the boots earlier this year at WrestleMania 42, there is widespread speculation this will be Brock Lesnar’s actual retirement match. He will look to finally vanquish rising mega star Oba Femi, who snagged a victory against him in their first meeting at the Showcase of the Immortals before Lesnar evened the score at Clash of Italy. Femi won King of the Ring, but chose to give up a guaranteed title shot to face Lesnar one final time.My Pick: Oba Femi Morgan vs. SKY WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan will make her first title defense since winning the title at WrestleMania 42 over 100 days ago. The two have been feuding for months, stemming back to their roles for and against the Judgment Day involving Rhea Ripley. One will walk out of Minneapolis as a champion. Nick Aldis vs. GUNTHERIn one of the more fascinating matches of the night, former Smackdown GM Nick Aldis returns to the ring to face GUNTHER. This unique rivalry has been boiling for months, with the Ring General feeling slighted by Aldis’ managerial power on the blue brand. A red line was crossed when Aldis deliberately cost GUNTHER a SummerSlam shot at the WWE Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Aldis has not wrestled a professional match since October 2023.My Pick: GUNTHER Knight, Keys and Sikoa? vs. The BloodlineThis one is a true headscratcher. LA Knight once again is looking to eliminate the Bloodline after years of feuding with different iterations of the faction. This time, he is teaming up with Royce Keys and a rogue Solo Sikoa, the former leader of the Bloodline. Foundational cogs Jey and Jimmy Uso, along with Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu stand in their way. Knight’s trust with Sikoa will likely be the main theme of this match. What will the Samoan do? My Pick: The Bloodline Fatal Influence vs. The Bella Twins and PaigeFatal Influence has carried over their NXT success with a strong debut on the main roster. Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid are WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after defeating Brie Bella and Paige at Saturday Night’s Main Event due to interference from Jacy Jayne. Nikki Bella was injured and unable to compete when the two won their titles at WrestleMania 42 after a shock fill-in from Paige. Nikki is back and they will all settle their differences at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
